The interdental space is the most neglected area of the mouth, yet the most vulnerable. Its anatomy provides the perfectly inaccessible environment for dental plaque to accumulate and fester, thereby causing great harm to both teeth and periodontium. In fact, the most difficult, complicated, and expensive therapy that a dentist performs daily is caused by the pathology of the interdental space.
