Here are some truly great tips for using the PerioTwist in your office:
1- To anesthetize gingiva before scaling and root planing etc. Simply dip the Periotwist into topical anesthetic and place between the teeth, then rotate clockwise. The topical anesthetic penetrates the unattached col inter-dental gingiva to produce profound anesthesia.
2- Prophy between teeth. "Dip it - Twist it”. Great to clean and/ or medicate inaccessible areas such as orthodontic braces, pontics, implants, splints.Narrow - XXX wide
3- WILL Simultaineously CLEAN, CARRY AND MEDICATE WITH VARNISHES, WHITENING AGENTS, RE MINERALIZATION PASTES, ANTIBACTERIALS, ANTIBIOTICS, FLUORIDES AND DESENSITIZATION SOLUTIONS.
4- Clean away interproximal cement during and following cementation.
